Job Performance is the quantity and quality of tasks accomplished by an individual or group of people.

The relationship between job satisfaction and performance is quite controversial. One view, connected to the early human relation's approach, is that satisfaction leads to performance. An alternative view is that performance leads to satisfaction. However, a variety of studies suggest that research has found only a limited relationship between satisfaction and work output. Generally, one will find that the more an employee is satisfied with their job, the better they will perform it as they will be more enthusiastic about and willing to put their best effort into their work, yielding bigger and better accomplishments.
